How to apply

In order to apply for an assistantship with the Department of University Housing candidates MUST complete the following steps:

STEP #1 - Complete a graduate assistantship application through the Division of Student Affairs. This can be done by clicking here.

STEP #2 - Complete a Department of University Housing graduate assistantship application. This can be done by clicking here.

Please note: Both steps one and two must be completed in order to be considered for a position with the Department of University Housing.

The deadline to submit your two completed applications for the 2010-2011 academic year is January 2010.

Until our selection process is complete, late applications will be accepted and reviewed should a vacancy occur. Please note that the Graduate School does not allow students to hold Graduate Assistantships if they are admitted provisionally. Notification letters are sent around the middle of March.

The Process

Selected candidates will be asked to visit campus for a day and a half interview on January 31 - February 1, February 7 - 8, or February 15 - 16, 2010. Due to the high number of applicants, we are unfortunately unable to offer all applicants an interview.

Job offers will be extended in March 2010.
