IABC 2009 SPRING TRIP
Join IABC on Friday, April 17
for an exciting, behind-the-scenes tour of the communications
department at the Georgia Aquarium, followed by a tour of the digital
and off- channel marketing departments of CNN Headquarters.
Deadline to sign up: Friday, April 10.
Free for IABC members, $5 for non-members.
Agenda for IABC Spring Trip, Friday, April 17:
8 a.m. Carpool from Athens
9:30 a.m. Arrive at Georgia Aquarium, begin behind-the-scenes tour
11 a.m. Conclude Georgia Aquarium tour, depart for CNN Center
11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Networking lunch at the CNN Center with IABC/Atlanta members (Students responsible for the cost of lunch)
1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Tour the digital and off-channel marketing departments of CNN Headquarters
2 p.m. Depart for Athens

The meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month except October and December. Networking and registration begin at 11:15 a.m. and meetings adjourn at 1 p.m. Students (with proof of ID) pay only $15.

Edward O'Meara has planned, executed, and managed integrated marketing campaigns in many countries and languages. He served as Vice President of Marketing for JDA Software Group and E3 Corporation, and held senior management roles at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, J. Walter Thompson, and Grey Worldwide. His clients have included BellSouth, Microsoft, IBM, and Lotus Software, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, Kroger, and ACME Supermarkets. He is a graduate of both the University of Georgia and the Medill Graduate School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
