Intercultural Affairs (ICA) is characterized by its student centered support of academic excellence, advocacy, and intercultural education.  Working from a foundation where everyone is intercultural, the department supports the institutional mission by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students and members of the surrounding community.  ICA will develop a culturally rich campus that prepares students to be global citizens through critical thinking, educational initiatives, student advisement, and leadership development.

The MirrorDebbie Ebalobo    
Debbie Ebalobo is a junior majoring in Public Relations at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications. She is the President of the Asian American Student Association (AASA) after having served as the Public Relations Chair.  She is a member of Delta Phi Lambda Sorority Incorporated, an Asian-interest sorority within the Multicultural Greek Council in Greek Life. She is also an active member of the Filipino American Student Association (FASA) and a Grad
Ambassador. Debbie was recently honored in New York City for receiving the 2007-2008 LaGrant Foundation Scholarship. The LaGrant Foundation awards a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships to 36 ethnic minority undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing careers in advertising, marketing and public relations every year. Debbie is an example of what happens when talent meets heart and passion.
