College Advising Program

The University of Georgia Institute of Higher Education College Advising Program is a university-based, grant-funded near-peer initiative that seeks to help more Georgia students from low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented backgrounds attend college. Recent college graduates will serve as college access advisors in selected public secondary institutions throughout the state of Georgia. Working alongside school staff, Advisors will assist students with navigating the college admissions process. This includes, but is not limited to admissions applications, financial aid forms and scholarship applications, and college entrance examination registration and preparation.
