Buck Trible
Waring “Buck” Trible is a self-proclaimed lover, of all things, fire ants. He credits UGA, the Odum School of Ecology and the entomology department for “enabling my habit” of studying the misunderstood insect. “My dream of becoming a scientist may now be a little more realistic due to the incredible nurturing of this school,” he says.
Eva Berlin
Art is her passion, but Eva Berlin’s actions go beyond the museum walls—everything from “making waves about an important issue” to her deep desire to help people. She says UGA provides her with the opportunities needed to make an impact in the future.
Ellie Sharp
To say Ellie Sharp, a senior premed student, has made the most of her time at UGA would be an understatement. But between all of her activities, she has kept her eye on her goal of medical school and then wants to promote “equality through access to health care.”
Edward McCreary
The theater stage is the primary collegiate focus for Edward McCreary, but he has found that the combination of academics and atmosphere makes UGA a special place for students.
Kristyl Tift
Kristyl Tift is a performer and an academic, and the Ph.D. student from Hinesville, Ga., finds that she is able to successfully merge those disciplines at UGA.
Will Murdock
Senior theater major Will Murdock from Arlington, Ga., wants to “tell stories” after he graduates, and his time at UGA has given him plenty of fodder to pursue his dreams.
