Laura Stone
Laura Stone’s college career began during her senior year of high school. She spent her first year of college and her last year of high school at Georgia Southern University as the first joint-enrolled student ever admitted into their University Honors Program. That year, she joined Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and served as the philanthropy, public relations, event and risk management chairs, and she hosted a Keep Bulloch Beautiful Cleanup Day. Ondra Dismukes
Ondra Krouse Dismukes came to UGA with a background in the business world, as the director of sales and a marketing representative for Tuskegee University’s Kellogg Conference Center. She has been a very strong role model to women graduate students throughout her studies at UGA. Chen Lin
Chen Lin is a leader. He has been president of two of the four major Asian student organizations on campus and in these roles has helped bring together multiple minority student organizations. He even helped organize UGA’s first Asian Heritage Month in more than a decade, which included a fundraiser for children’s education. Rachel Stokely
Rachel Stokely could have graduated early with all her Advanced Placement credits. Instead, in her sophomore year, she changed her studies from cellular biology to pursue the dual degree in mathematics education and mathematics (B.S.Ed./B.S.). As an Honors student she also got admitted into the M.Ed. program in mathematics education and will graduate with three degrees this spring.
