Patrick Henry
Senior Patrick Henry is an amazing student. He is a triple major in German, Japanese, and Chinese and he spent a year abroad in Taiwan. He has been very active in UGA Choral Activities, singing in Concert Choir, Collegium Musicum, University Chorus, and Men’s Glee Club, and recently won the Pierce Arant Choral Award. He also composed a sacred work (45 min. in length) for chorus and string orchestra which members of UGA’s Concert Choir and Symphony Orchestra performed downtown.…
Amanda Elam
Amanda Elam as a truly amazing student. She has been described as upbeat, optimistic and always smiling. She has been captain of the UGA women’s soccer club team. She made dean’s list many times, is an honors student, and has received Charter and Governor’s Scholarships. She is a cadet lieutenant colonel in UGA’s Air Force ROTC. Jackson Brandon
Junior J.D. Brandon has a zest for living. This is abundantly clear in decisions he has made in his life. He is a triple major at UGA (English, history, and international affairs), who enjoys participating in a wide variety of extracurricular activities on campus. Leigh Creighton
In her ideal world, senior Leigh Creighton would like to be a writer, a civil rights lawyer, a mother, a wife, and a dreamer. She was an apprentice in UGA’s Center for Undergraduate Opportunities during her first two years at UGA where she studied the effects of grade retention on elementary school students with Stacey Neuharth-Pritchett, and she also studied international affairs under Stephen Shellman and Project Civil Strife. Ashley Foster
Senior Ashley Lauren Foster has had many rewarding experiences during her time as a student at UGA. In 2007, she was crowned Miss University of Georgia, inducted into The Arch Society and completed her Honors thesis. As Miss UGA, she has lectured at UGA’s School of Public Health about stroke awareness and prevention, worked with St. Mary’s Hospital to coordinate a Community Stroke Forum last August, and continued working on the creation of a Georgia Stroke Awareness License plate that…
