Bryn Murphy
Bryn Murphy has a passion for the great outdoors. The Suwanee native, who has participated in study abroad programs in Botswana, Peru and Indonesia, will graduate in spring, 2012 with triple degrees in International Affairs, Spanish and Environmental Studies.
Juan Cardoza-Oquendo
Juan Carlos Cardoza-Oquendo may call Decatur, Ga., home, but it’s obvious he takes pride in his Hispanic heritage. Following graduation in spring 2012 and after receiving bachelor’s degrees in anthropology and human geography, he plans to work for the rights of workers and immigrants.
JoyEllen Freeman
JoyEllen Freeman has made sure that her education at UGA is the experience of a lifetime. As a student, she’s traveled abroad, participated in numerous studies on civil rights, developed research through the CURO program and mentored youngsters in the local community.
Amar Mirza
The recipient of a prestigious Goldwater Scholarship, Amar Mirz has been an author on four research publications, volunteered in Haiti, spent countless hours in a microbiology lab and has visions of a career in health care. His passion beyond academia? The art and athleticism of parkour or freerunning.
Tiffany Hu
Tiffany Hu’s various UGA experiences in such programs as Honors, CURO, Ramsey Scholars, Dean Tate Honor Society and Blue Key Society have prepared her for her future aspirations—to be a compassionate physician and public health professional.
Caroline Daniel
One day, she plans to be an attorney and newscaster. For now, Caroline Daniel of Elberton is relishing in her UGA experiences that have taken her from campus to Washington, D.C. to Spain and beyond.
