Faraz Ahmed
Senior Faraz Ahmed has many interests, but he is most passionate about broadcast news. He currently works as a broadcasting manager for UGA NewSource, a daily news show produced by students on UGA’s campus. He has also worked with an organization to set up the first private news channel in Pakistan and subsequently traveled to Dubai and Serbia as a broadcast consultant. He develops training DVDs for broadcast industry professionals and continues to work with the Gwinnett County Public Schools…
Sara Diehl
As the saying goes, you only have one chance at a first impression. And if UGA student and campus tour guide Sara Diehl is the first impression a visitor or prospective student has of the campus, they surely will return. Hailing from Kennesaw, Ga., this bright, vivacious business major has a love for the university and the Athens community.
Blake Mitchell
Blake Mitchell is an amazing student leader. From his involvement with student government, the UGA Visitors Center, various academic programs, and CineClub, Blake has accomplished much. He was chosen as a Leonard Leadership Scholar and is a member of the Dean William Tate Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society and the Blue Key National Honor Society.
Kameon Prather
Kameon Prather is a name you will likely hear in the future. The North Gwinnett High School graduate has already had experience at MTV Studios in New York City and is the co-founder of a promising music production and engineering company—thanks to the opportunities afforded him by the Terry College of Business and Terry’s Music Certification in Music Business.
Juliet Allan
When she graduates this fall, Elizabeth Allan will have traveled to six different continents thanks to various UGA study abroad programs. But that’s not her only accomplishment. She will also have three degrees—in Arabic, economics and international affairs and international policy.
