Courtney Garmhaus
Whether studying for classes at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, volunteering with a civic or community organization, interning to gain experience in her chosen profession of public relations or working at one of her many jobs to pay for her education, Courtney Garmhaus gives 100 percent of herself 100 percent of the time.
Jason Hafford
Jason Hafford has been a campus tour guide at the UGA Visitor Center since his freshman year. As a tour guide, he shares his enthusiasm about UGA with prospective students and their families.
Brinkley Warren
A proposal for a mobile software application that promotes sustainable agriculture and local food consumption sent Brinkley Warren, a UGA graduate student in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications, to Singularity University in California this summer. Warren was a participant at the Silicon Valley think-tank with other graduate students from around the world, labeled future leaders and entrepreneurs. Eric Jones
UGA Senior Eric Jones is passionate about a career in broadcast journalism, thanks to the many collegiate experiences he has had while at the university. This Vidalia, Georgia native has studied abroad in France during the Cannes Film Festival, participated in the Washington Semester Program in which he interned for First Lady Michelle Obama, served as an intern for Good Morning America in New York, worked in the UGA Visitor Center and served as president of a leading campus organization.…
Colleen Murphy
Whether twirling between the hedges at Sanford Stadium as UGA’s head majorette or leading a tour for future students at the Visitors Center, Colleen Murphy exudes the spirit of the University of Georgia. This Maryland native will graduate in spring 2012 and plans a career in public relations.
Caroline Daniel
One day, she plans to be an attorney and newscaster. For now, Caroline Daniel of Elberton is relishing in her UGA experiences that have taken her from campus to Washington, D.C. to Spain and beyond.
