Lauren Willis
One day, Lauren Willis hopes to be more than a student at UGA. Working towards her doctorate in pharmacy with plans to graduate in spring, 2014, Lauren says, “If I could design my perfect job, it would entail working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting, participating in research projects and teaching pharmacy students here at UGA.”
Steven Yi
Steven Yi wants to end the pain, suffering and loss associated with cancer by finding a cure. After losing both parents to cancer, he is studying to be a medical oncologist, but he takes time to help others along the way.
Shari McIntosh
Senior Shari McIntosh has found her voice. She says the University of Georgia has been the catalyst for her to fulfill her “personal mantra of being able to lead, serve, impact and grow.”
Edward McCreary
The theater stage is the primary collegiate focus for Edward McCreary, but he has found that the combination of academics and atmosphere makes UGA a special place for students.
Ellie Sharp
To say Ellie Sharp, a senior premed student, has made the most of her time at UGA would be an understatement. But between all of her activities, she has kept her eye on her goal of medical school and then wants to promote “equality through access to health care.”
David Gianino
With aspiration to own his own farm one day, David Gianino “...places a very high value on locally grown produce and sustainable farming practices. It is the only thing that will really help to change the current food system in our country.” David is active in UGA’s horticulture circles, working an internship at the UGArden and serving as president of the Horticulture Club.
