Matthew Sellers
A passion for culture, arts and politics has allowed Matthew Sellers to experience some of UGA’s more fascinating programs, including the Honors Program, the Roosevelt Institute, CURO, studies abroad and more.
Ariel Garrett
Ariel Garrett believes in living and learning life to its fullest. When she graduates next year with a double major in psychology and English, the Haralson County native will be a mere 20 years old. During that time, Ariel has traveled the globe, worked her way through school, remained in the Honors Program and has aspirations of managing her own organic farm and bakery using recipes from all over the world.
Logan Krusac
A passion for Chinese relations and international diplomacy sent Logan Krusac on a one-year UGA study abroad program that was life-changing for this senior from Smyrna. Logan credits numerous programs for his ultimate collegiate experience, including the Honors program, Foundation Fellows and the Student Government Association.
Alyson Pittman
Economics and English double major, Alyson Pittman says UGA’s intellectual culture mixed with an immense love of sporting events made it an obvious choice for her. From her on campus teaching experiences, to an outreach experience in Tanzania, to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, Alyson finds her college experience at UGA “awesome.”
Blake Mitchell
Blake Mitchell is an amazing student leader. From his involvement with student government, the UGA Visitors Center, various academic programs, and CineClub, Blake has accomplished much. He was chosen as a Leonard Leadership Scholar and is a member of the Dean William Tate Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society and the Blue Key National Honor Society.
Colleen Murphy
Whether twirling between the hedges at Sanford Stadium as UGA’s head majorette or leading a tour for future students at the Visitors Center, Colleen Murphy exudes the spirit of the University of Georgia. This Maryland native will graduate in spring 2012 and plans a career in public relations.
