GMOA to host Gallery Games

Gallery Games, a regular feature at the Georgia Museum of Art, is scheduled for June 20 at 4:15 p.m. and includes an interactive gallery tour for children ages 7 to 11. Participants will learn about works in the museum through activities designed just for kids.

Try your skill on the climbing wall

If you’re looking for a summer exercise challenge, try the climbing wall at the Ramsey Center. Summer hours are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 3-8 p.m.; Tuesday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 2-6 p.m.

GMOA's Kress Project book to be released
The Georgia Museum of Art is having a special event to mark the release of a book about its Kress Project June 23 from 2-3 p.m. Music will be provided by Charlie Hartness along with performances by other Kress Project winners. Copies of the book will be for sale in the Museum Shop. At 3 p.m., Lynn Boland, Pierre Daura Curator of European Art, will lead a tour of the Kress Collection.
