If you are serious about pursuing a quality education, then
seriously think about UGA. The university is committed to
enrolling a culturally and intellectually diverse student
body of highly qualified and actively involved students. Explore
our Web site to discover why the Wall Street Journal named
UGA one of its 16 “Hot Schools” in 2002.
Is the University of Georgia the
Next “Public Ivy”?
UGA joins only three other institutions--Harvard, Yale and
Brown--in garnering a sweep of the top four most prestigious
postgraduate scholarships this year. UGA undergraduates have
been named recipients of the Rhodes, Marshall, Goldwater (2)
and Truman scholarships, highlighting an impressive list of
scholarship recipients for UGA over the past 10 years. All
five students are in UGA’s nationally-recognized Honors
Program, and four are also Foundation Fellows, UGA’s
premier scholarship program.
