India Teacher Resources
Essential to all outreach programs is the provision of K-12 teacher resources to assist in the preparation of globally competent students who are the future leaders of our world. To that end, a group of four IPSO Student Ambassadors embarked on a research project to create a database of India-related materials and sources. Headed by Masooma Rae, IPSO Research Assistant, the students read and annotated more than 150 articles, organized them in distinct categories with citation information, and formatted them for perusal and use. Educators are encouraged to use these as starting points for integrating India-related content into their curricula.
We welcome suggestions on how to enhance this instructional tool for classroom use, and invite new abstracts for inclusion. Please email your abstract with citation to ipso@uga.edu.
We recognize the IPSO India Student Research Group and thank them for their scholarship: Justin Campbell, Charles Ford, Mariel Moats, and Masooma Rae.
