Phenix Logistics is the only company in Uganda that specializes in the manufacture of high quality textile garments from knitted fabric made with locally produced organic cotton.


Phenix produces a wide variety of t-shirts for the local market in both white and a variety of dye colors.

These products, marketed under famous brand names such as Yamato, Zenbury, Phenix, and Crocodile, are readily available at affordable prices to goverment departments/ministries, local and international non-governmental organizations, schools and institutions, corporate organizations, uniform suppliers/agents, private organizations, and the general public.


Phenix Logistics employees break cotton lint and remove impurities before cotton is combed, cleaned and spun into organic cotton yarn.

At Phenix Logistics we place particular emphasis on quality manufacturing to compete effectively in the world market while focusing on customers' satisfaction.

White Shirt School Uniforms
The school white shirts widely know as Yamato shirts that Phenix Logistics has introduced into the market are superior to all that are locally produced. The shirts are stitched using industrial type machines and superior stitching thread, which make the seams stronger.

T-shirts and Polo Shirts
Phenix Logistics produces a wide variety of t-shirt designs for the local market in both plain white and a variety of dye colors.

Dress Shirts
The dress shirts produced by Phenix Logistics are made from imported fabrics and come in a variety of colors and shades. The quality of the finish is excellent and our products compare favorably with internationally-renowned brands such as Van Heusen.

Organization and Manpower
Phenix Logistics is organized to give its customers and other stakeholders a complete range of services in textiles, dress designs and styles, color, etc. We recognize that skilled manpower is the backbone of our success and we take interest in the development and training needs of our workforce. Ongoing training programs for staff enable them to keep abreast of changes and developments in technology in textile and garment manufacture.

Phenix Logistics (U) Ltd. is located in the Industrial Area on 5th Street and currently employs 250 workers. We operate under a consortium of investors consisting of Ugandan, Singaporean, and Japanese interests. Mr. Yuichi Kashwada is the managing director and has over 38 years' of experience in textile/garment manufacturing.
