What follows is a questionnaire that we at the UGA Virtual Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the Islamic World (VCISIW) will be using to create our virtual center and to network all UGA faculty members who have teaching or research interests related to the Muslim world. 

 

We would appreciate it if you could copy this questionnaire and email it to all of your department heads for distribution to all faculty members.

1) Have you ever performed research anywhere in the Islamic world (defined as regions with significant Muslim populations) ? yes/no; if yes, please list places and dates.

 

2) Have you previously performed research concerning your discipline as it is practiced in the Islamic world, or concerning the Islamic world, Islam, or Muslims:  yes/no; if yes, please list topics researched and dates.
