International Tax Assistance Program - Volunteer

Join the ISL Tax Team!

If you would like to learn how to help international students complete their federal (and state) tax obligations through the International Tax Assistance Program (I-TAP) with ISL, please contact our office for more information.

Each member of the ISL Tax Team completes the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) training for non-resident tax issues.  This session includes a required eight-hour training led by a VITA certified instructor.  All members of the ISL Tax Team receive this training each year they volunteer and commit to helping with a minimum of 3-5 tax appointments per week during the tax season.  Interest meetings to find out more information about this program are typically held in the late fall semester or early spring.  Contact us for specific dates, times, and locations for the interest meeting(s).

ISL loves helping international students with their tax forms and we invite you to join the ISL Tax Team this year!
