UGA Women's Studies Resources
Learn more about University and Institute resources for faculty,
staff, and teaching assistants such as videos and books available
in the Benson library, UGA discussion listservs, links to other
UGA organizations/programs, research databases, and women's studies
national organizations.
Collective Women's Studies Resources
Learn more about the following women's studies subtopics as
well as issues relating to diversity and multiculturalism. Included
within this section is a listing of basic resources and bibliographies
for each of the subtopics including: Latinas Asian American, Native
American, Jewish, Black, and White women and resources about girls,
economics, poverty, women's history, bodies, media/pop-culture, violence,
health, sexuality and global issues. Since there is a substantial
amount of information related to women and gender available on the
web, a comprehensive list would be nearly impossible to compile and
maintain. Thus, the various sites listed under each subtopic are
primary resources that offer numerous links to find additional information.
These sites are useful for both instructional and research purposes.
Curriculum Transformation
Learn more about how to integrate topics relating to gender, race,
and diversity into the classroom. The objective is to provide users
with resources for how to teach and include these issues in discussions
and lectures. The sites listed within this section contain information
for faculty, staff, and teaching assistants on curriculum and
syllabi development, teaching resources, and debates about current
pedagogical issues in women's studies. Also included are links
to sites for anyone interested in issues related to women's careers
in higher education, pedagogy discussion listservs, and links to
other women's studies programs.
