Judicial Programs

columnsAs a unit within the Student Support Services, a department within the Division of Student Affairs, the Office of Judicial Programs, strives to support the Student Affairs overarching goal of enhancing the learning environment for students at the University of Georgia. This is accomplished by providing an educational and fair process through which alleged violations of University conduct regulations are handled and where the students involved gain an understanding of the expectations placed on them as responsible members of the University of Georgia community.

The Code of Conduct has been developed by the Office of Judicial Programs to provide useful information to students and student organizations who have been charged with violating a University conduct regulation. All procedures for responding to possible violations of conduct regulations, including specifics of the judicial process, a listing of possible sanctions, and the appeals procedures are included in the Code of Conduct. These procedures have been established to ensure due process and fundamental fairness to all involved in the University's judicial processes.
