Pamela B. Kleiber is Associate Director of the Honors Program and the Center for Undergraduate Research at the University of Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with minors in Philosophy, History and Education from Ithaca College and a Masters and Doctorate in Education from the University of Georgia where she is a faculty administrator. She has served as the Editor-In-Chief of JURO since its inception in 2001. |

I was born in Ethiopia, moved to the Netherlands until I was 7. I've lived in Texas, Georgia and North Carolina since then, graduated from Oconee County High School in '01, UGA in '05 and now work as a Program Assistant for CURO. My majors were Psychology and Sociology. I play the violin a little and write as well- for fun. |

Daniel Jordan Operations Manager |

Daniel Jordan is a third-year from Birmingham, Alabama majoring in Anthropology and Comparative Literature and minoring in music. He currently serves as layout editor for Stillpoint Literary Magazine, and he is a co-founder of the Furthering Our Local Knowledge society (FOLK of Athens). He spent last summer at a field school in the Guatemalan highlands learning qualitative research methods, among other things. He sings/plays on and off with different music groups around UGA and Athens. In his free time he enjoys things like music, writing, photography, and backpacking. |

Julia Schuchard is a senior from suburbia Georgia studying psychology, biology, and Spanish. During her college years, she has been privileged to hike glaciers in New Zealand, visit prison inmates in Peru, dissect a sheep brain, captain a flip cup-themed Relay for Life team and, of course, serve as Managing Editor of JURO. After graduation she plans to win the lottery and travel to various spectacular landscapes around the world, or else pursue a Ph.D. in language neuroscience. |

Shivan Bhatt is a fourth-year Honors student from Augusta, Georgia pursuing a double major in Genetics and Philosophy. This is his third year in JURO and he is the Arts Content Editor this year. In his free time he enjoys running, playing basketball, and reading. After graduating, he plans to attend medical school. |

Long Doan is a third year international business major from Savannah, Georgia. Long is the undergraduate lab manager in the Laboratory for the Study of Social Interaction (LaSSI) and is currently involved in research concerning justice and status. Long enjoys globe trotting, and during his time at the University, Long has had the opportunity to study in the UK and Germany. He's also presented research at the CURO International Symposium in Costa Rica. After graduating, Long plans on enrolling in a joint JD/PhD program in law and sociology. He intends on conducting research on social movements and inequality as well as being an advocate for civil rights in the U.S. |

Courtney is a fourth-year Honors student from Columbus, Georgia. She is pursuing a degree in English. Courtney plans to attend graduate school and earn a Master of Public Administration in order to fulfill her dream of one day creating a non- profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the disabled. Because of Courtney's love for UGA, she cherishes the opportunity to encourage others to share that love through her role as an intern for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Courtney is a former Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities (CURO) Apprentice, and spent two years with Dr. Barbara McCaskill researching for and creating the "Freedom on Film" website for the Civil Rights Digital Library Initiative. |

Sara is a fourth-year Honors student pursuing degrees in both Management Information Systems and Criminal Justice. Sara is involved in several other student organizations including Society for Management Information Systems, Women in Business, Criminal Justice Society, and ONE organization. Participating in two study aboard programs, Sara has had the opportunity to travel and explore the countries of England and Italy. She is a black belt in taekwondo and enjoys many other sports including basketball and softball. In addition, she likes to spend her time reading, traveling, cooking, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. |

Dave Howcroft is a third-year Foundation Fellow from Orlando, Florida, double majoring in Linguistics and Mathematics. In his first year as a web editor for JURO, he also enjoys seeing all the incredible theatrical productions Athens has to offer, often writing about them at AthensTheatre.com. This summer he hopes to travel to Europe, Asia, and Africa, visiting Catholic and Buddhist monasteries, Sufi communities, and other spiritual sites. |

Lauren Elmore is a fourth-year English and magazines double-major from Alpharetta, GA. In her time at UGA, Lauren has studied abroad at the Cannes Film Festival and at Oxford University. Before working for JURO as a content editor, Lauren worked with several on-campus publications, including ugazine and Stillpoint Literary Magazine, and she interned for a summer at The Atlantan magazine in Atlanta, GA. Lauren is applying to graduate schools this fall, aspiring to earn her Ph.D. in English literature and to eventually become a professor. In her few moments of free time, she enjoys cooking and watching films. |

Amanda Gregory is a senior Latin, Greek, and Classical Culture major aspiring to continue on to a PhD program in Classical languages. She is currently working on a thesis through CURO on misidentification and ritual substitution in the Iliad. While at UGA she has been a board member of Habitat for Humanity, president of the Classics Honor society, Eta Sigma Phi, and is serving on the Dean's Advisory Board. This is her first year editing for JURO, but she has worked as the editorial assistant to the Editor-in-Chief, of the American Journal of Archaeology for over a year. |

Audrey Jordan is a senior English major from Norcross, Georgia. In past years, she has studied abroad at the University of Oxford, served on the Department of University Housing Conduct Review Board, assisted a UGA professor with data analysis in sociology, and volunteered in the Athens Hispanic community. She currently works as a writing tutor and an Honors teaching assistant, and plays in the UGA Philharmonia. After graduation, Audrey plans to pursue a graduate degree in education; she hopes to work in college student affairs or K-12 public school administration and policy. This is her second year with JURO. |

Matt Levenson is a second-year Foundation Fellow from Wantagh, New York, majoring in International Affairs. His academic interests include ethnicity, migration, conflict, and human security. Matt is currently conducting research in the field of historical cultural geography, and had the privilege of presenting his work in Baton Rouge earlier this year; he hopes to travel to Texas to conduct field research next semester. In his free time, Matt enjoys cooking and concert-going. This is his first year working on the JURO editorial staff. |

Karen Marks is a third year Greek/Latin/Classical Culture major from Mansfield, Georgia. This is her first year working with the JURO staff. During her undergraduate career, she has traveled abroad extensively, studying and visiting archaeological sites in Italy and Greece. Karen is currently the president of Eta Sigma Phi, UGA's Classics society. After graduating, she plans on pursuing a PhD in Classical archaeology. Outside of academia, her interests include translating, reading, watching films, yoga, and being outdoors. |

Laura McDonald is a third-year English and History major from Suwanee, GA. In her time at UGA, Laura has studied abroad in New Zealand and at Oxford University. She is pursuing a joint bachelor/master's degree in English. Laura is involved with the University of Georgia's Honors Program, serving on the Honors Program Student Council and as a Teaching Assistant. Laura plans on applying to PhD graduate programs next fall with the ultimate career goal of an English literature professor. |

Kat Morrell is a third-year English major from Roswell, Georgia. She is also a double-minor in Religion and Drama. She is a member of the Stillpoint Literary Magazine and plays soccer whenever she gets a chance. She is hoping to study abroad this Spring with the UGA at Oxford program. She has always wanted to be a writer and plans on going to graduate school in creative writing. This is her second year on staff with JURO. |

Stefann Plishka is a third year senior majoring in History and minoring in Art History. Stefann was a CURO Research Apprentice during her first two years of undergraduate study, conducting Art History research on religious art and architecture, projects that were presented at several academic conferences. She received a CURO Summer Fellowship to write an Honors Thesis on Christian and Islamic architecture in Constantinople. Stefann also received an Honors International Scholarship to spend Maymester 2008 in Morocco. Upon graduation, she intends to enroll in a Masters of Architecture program and become a licensed architect. Stefann is also applying for a 2009-2010 Fulbright Fellowship to teach English in Turkey. This is her first year on the JURO staff. |

A native of Valdosta, GA, Kristen Tullos is a fourth-year majoring in Economics and International Affairs. Her main involvement on campus has been with the Roosevelt Institution, UGA's student think tank. Leading Roosevelt@UGA last year, Kristen harnessed Roosevelt's policy expertise to serve the greater Athens community and she is currently the Teaching Assistant for the Roosevelt Scholars Course. Highlights of her undergraduate career also include working in the office of Senator Johnny Isakson and studying Spanish at an international language school in Costa Rica. In her free time, she plays on UGA's club tennis team. After graduation, Kristen plans to attend law school and pursue her interest in public policy. |
