Gamedays at UGA are no less than amazing! Athens becomes a sea of red and black. Enthusiastic students, visitors, and alums cover every square foot of the campus. Tailgate tents and RVs are set up everywhere. From tailgate to tailgate, the delicious aroma of hamburgers, hotdogs, and BBQ fills the air. The Georgia Flight song and "Dixie" can be heard all over campus. Hearing these wonderful tunes cannot help but get your blood pumping! At the KD house, girls are scrambling to find their perfect red and black gameday attire. Your closet becomes everyone else's closet, too! KDs tailgate together everywhere from North Campus to up and down Milledge Avenue. As game time approaches, everyone begins the march toward Sanford Stadium. Some stop on the way to cheer on the dawgs in the dawg walk. Then, we all pack into the rowdy student section with our bulldog face tattoos and red and black pompoms. As exciting as Saturday football gamedays may be, KDs love and support all UGA athletics, from the gym dawgs to the diamond dawgs. We especially enjoy watching our sisters excel in their different talents, such as volleyball, equestrian, cheerleading, and dancing. Nothing compares to proudly cheering on the dawgs to victory after victory!
