It is recommended that you take the GACE Content Area Assessment the semester before student teaching.
Use a study guide and many sample questions (the GACE website has great materials) so that you become familiar with the test's format.
The night before, get plenty of rest and be as relaxed as possible.
To help yourself relax, look at UGA's pass rates before taking the test.
