for positions on the 2010 officer team. Before

beginning this application, please be sure

that you have reviewed the responsibilities of

the position(s) on the KDE website About Page.The officer term is from January 2010 - December 2010 and if elected you will be expected to serve the entire term. If you wish to apply for more than one position, please fill out a separate application for each position. Members may apply and hold more than one position within the organization. It is recommended that the KDE president and Vice President only hold one position.

  • The Clarke County Mentoring Program is looking for new volunteers to mentor children attending a Clarke County school. Mentoring involves meeting with your student (while they are at school) for at least one hour a week and it is a year-long commitment. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking for a way to get more involved in the community or get an introduction into the life of a child living in Athens. There is a short application asking for basic information posted on the website.
