The UGA lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) alumnae/i group is for alumnae/i and friends of the LGBTQ community at the University of Georgia. The alumnae/i group sponsors social events such as happy hours, tailgating at football games, and potlucks; provides opportunities for professional networking; updates members on the progress of LGBT issues at the University; and provides a means for alumnae/i to support the LGBTQ community at UGA. The alumnae/i group is also a great way to keep in touch with friends. Events are held in Atlanta, Athens, and other parts of Georgia.
