This page was concieved and written by Allison Miller, a sophmore at Clarke Central High in Athens, GA, for a class project in Ms. Scholle's science class. That's me, over there to the right. I used Macromedia's Dreamweaver software to build the page, after my dad showed me how to use the program, and helped me with things like links and inserting graphics. Learning to use a program like Dreamweaver really makes building web sites pretty easy!

For resources I mostly got materials from the web, as well as two really good books-- The Life-giving Sea by David Bellany, and The Oceans by Robert Barton. I scanned some pictures from these books, as well as captured images from the web, and used them in my pages. Since this page is for educational use only and not to make any money, I hope it is OK that I borrowed these pictures without getting their permission.
