Housing for Learning Community Students

The Learning Community experience blends academic and residential life for first-year students in a new, exciting, and cohesive way.  Small groups of twenty incoming students are housed together in Creswell Hall by individual Learning Communities.  Each group takes classes together, with three related courses in the fall and a seminar incorporating a service-learning project in the spring.  This unique opportunity to share both the living and learning experiences may mean that Learning Communities are ideal for you.

While the Learning Communities are based in Creswell Hall, there are many other Residential Learning Opportunities at UGA designed to fit your academic interests. The different programs at UGA are each housed in different residence halls, so you are limited in choice to just one program.
