Individual lessons available for UGA String Project students
UGA String Project students currently enrolled in the program may sign up for private (one-on-one) lessons with instructors in the UGA School of Music Community Music School (CMS) with a $60 deduction in the cost. For third and fourth year students in particular, we strongly encourage you to take this step for the training and development of skills needed for playing your string instrument. The special rates for String Project students are as follows:
Half-hour lessons: $275 per semester
45-minute lessons: $415 per semester
Hour lessons: $555 per semester
Fourteen lessons are included each semester, so at the half-hour rate, each lesson is costing less than $16. We are sorry that we cannot further reduce the cost of private lessons, but would stress that this is still an educational bargain.
