Liana Embovica-Rivkin

Liana Embovica-Rivkin, a native of Latvia, studied piano at the Darzinsh School of Music in Riga, an institution for gifted children. During her studies she won numerous awards, including the top prize in the Latvian National Piano Competition. After graduation, she attended the Moscow Conservatory and after five years of study with Tatiana Nikolaeva, obtained her Masters degree in Piano Performance.

Ms. Embovica-Rivkin has performed as soloist and collaborative musician in the United States, England, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Brazil. She has recorded for Summit, Horizon Music and ACA Digital. Radio and television stations have broadcast her performances in Latvia, Russia, and the United States. She is staff accompanist in the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music.
