Heidi Lucas Heidi Lucas is a candidate for the Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in horn performance. Her previous degrees are from the Crane School of Music and the Eastman School of Music. Heidi is a two-time recipient of the Directors Excellence Award at the University of Georgia and a Teaching Assistant in brass performance. She is instructor of horn at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA and at Toccoa Falls College. As a member of the Bulldog Brass Society, a quintet coached by Professor Fred Mills, she has performed throughout the Southeast and in England. The quintet was the second prize winner of the 2003 MTNA chamber music competition and the state winner of the 2005 competition. She was also the state winner of the MTNA brass solo competition in November 2005. She has performed with the Columbus Symphony and the Cobb Symphony. |
