Sonia Choy

Sonia Choy has received numerous awards including First Unanimous Prize from the Concours Européen de Musique, Picardie, France. She studied at the Conservatoire National de Région de Bordeaux, Conservatoire Supérieur National de Région de Saint-Maur de Paris, and École Normal de Paris, France. She was a principal flutist of the Paris Saint-Maur National Orchestra. Ms. Choy received her Master’s degree from Seoul National University and Korean National University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Georgia as a student of Angela Jones-Reus.
