SEHW 2001 - Calendar

MASTER CLASS INFO

Students interested in performing on a master class should have their horn teacher write a letter of recommendation to Dr. Jean Martin by January 6, 2001. The letter should include the student's year in school and preferred repertoire for the class. Please note that an attempt will be made to include students from all levels (high school through graduate school) on the master classes.

This calendar is subject to revision and addition.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2

Exhibit hours: 10:00 am-1:00 pm, 3:00-7:40 pm (Orchestra Room).

9:00 am Preliminary round, College Solo Competition (Ramsey Concert Hall).
Preliminary round, Orchestral Competition, Low Horn (Choral Suite).
Preliminary round, Orchestral Competition, High Horn (Hodgson Concert Hall).

1:00 pm Welcome and Opening concert. Brice Andrus and Susan Welty (Hodgson Concert Hall).

2:30 pm Master class. Brice Andrus (Ramsey Concert Hall).

4:00 pm Regional Artists Recital I (Ramsey Concert Hall).

7:00 pm Pre-concert lecture. John Dressler, Murray State University (Ramsey Concert Hall).

8:00 pm Recital. David Jolley (Hodgson Concert Hall).

Post-concert Music trivia at Buffalo's Cafe, 196 Alps Road.
