RE: Office of Student
Financial Aid working to restore telephone service
The main telephone line into the Office of Student Financial
Aid has been out of commission since Wednesday afternoon. The University's Telephone Services office and the outside
software vendor are working to resolve this problem as soon as possible.
Temporary measures have been taken which should allow access
to the Financial Aid office on the main (706) 542-6147 number. We hope that the system will be operational
by the end of business today.
This is an especially busy time of year in the Financial Aid
office, and because of the backlog, callers may get a busy signal. Please keep calling. If you experience any other difficulties when
calling (706) 542-6147, please report them to (706) 542-8208 for appropriate
action.
