The University of Georgia and Georgia Perimeter College will cosponsor an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Gwinnett University Center. The event is aimed at prospective students interested in learning more about the programs offered by the two institutions in Gwinnett. Two drop-in sessions are scheduled. The first session will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in building A, the second from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in building B. UGA and GPC are the two founding partners delivering academic programs at the Gwinnett University Center, located off Highway 316 at Collins Hill Road in Lawrenceville. GPC offers a full menu of associate degrees in two-year transfer and career programs. UGA offers bachelors degree programs in business, science and education with additional offerings planned for fall 2003. While the UGA bachelors degree programs were first offered this fall, UGA has been delivering masters degree programs and noncredit continuing education programs in Gwinnett since the mid-1980s.
