About Us

The Economic society at Georgia has had a short tenure. Three years ago it was started by a few economics students here at the university and has continued to grow (or so we hope). Our goal is to foster communication with the community, the faculty, and the alumni. The scope of our program has grown over these last couple of years to include the reintroduction of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Economic Honors society and the new membership in the Dean's Council. We hope that many new students will join our ranks and contribute something back to the university and to each other.

Student\faculty mixer, Guest Speakers, Trip To Atlanta Federal Reserve Board, Nights out with the faculty, Softball Tourneys, Economic debates, Dinners, Tailgates, and some occasional studying and tutoring.
