To identifying which service center is handling your forms check your receipt number
located in the upper left corner of the Receipt Notice. The two centers that
handle applications submitted by UGA are the Texas Service Center (TSC) and the
Nebraska Service Center (LIN). Once you have the processing time chart for the
correct service center you can scroll down and locate the application by the form
number:
I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker
I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residency or Adjust Status
I-131 Application for Travel Document (Advanced Parole)
I-765 Application for Employment Authorization (EAD Card)
The processing date shown means the center is working on applications submitted on or before that date.
Specific Case Status
If you want more specific information for a form that has been filed with a service center, you can go on line at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and use the receipt number to check on the status of that particular application.
Each form that has been submitted to a service center will have its own receipt
number so you will need to enter each number to see its processing status.
You can also check on your application with the National Customer Service Center at 800-375-5283.
