Location
The Office of International Education(OIE), International Student Scholar and Immigration
Services(ISSIS) will be moving to the Bank of America Building.
The new address, as of March 5th, 2007 is:

Bus Directions
The UGA Buses can take you to our office. You can
- Take the Orbit, Milledge, East-West or Family Housing bus, get off at the bus stop in front of the arch.
- Cross Broad St.
- Turn left and walk aling Broad St. until you get to Lumpkin St.
- Trun right on Lumpkin St. and go the next street down, which is Clayton St.
- The Office of International Education is the Bank of America Building at the corner of Lumpkin and Clayton.
- Walk into lobby and go straight to elevators. Study Abroad and UGA Costa Rica will be on the 3rd floor, and the Office
of International Education will be on the 4th floor.
- Please check in with the Receptionist at the front desk on the 3rd or 4th floor.
The UGA buses only operate between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and on Mondays through Fridays
when school is in session. There is no bus service on holidays or during school breaks

Bus service is also provided by the Athens Transit System. The Athens Transit System is the
citywide bus system. The Athens Transit System buses run from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday
through Saturday. There is no bus service on Sundays or on holidays. There are
15 bus routes with bus stops at many locations throughout Athens. The bus is free for students,
faculty and staff with a valid UGA Card; otherwise, to ride the bus, please check their web site

Office of International Education, International Student Scholar and Immigration Services office
hours are:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday
The office is closed on Saturday, Sunday and the following Official Holidays:
- Monday, Jan. 1 -- New Year's Day
- Monday, Jan. 15 -- Martin Luther King Day
- Monday, May 28 -- Memorial Day
- Wednesday, Jul. 4 -- Independence Day
- Monday, Sep. 3 -- Labor Day
- Wednesday-Friday, Nov. 21-23 -- Thanksgiving
- Monday-Friday, Dec. 24-28 -- December Holidays
The University will officially close operations for the December Holidays at the close of
business on Friday, December 21, 2006, and will resume normal scheduled operations on Wednesday,
January 2, 2007.
