Health Insurance


While in TN status and employed at UGA you might be eligible to take part in the UGA sponsored health insurance plan. Information concerning this plan will be explained to you during your orientation with human resources.

If you are not eligible to be part of the UGA insurance plan then the OIE strongly recommends that you purchase your own health insurance plan to cover yourself during your stay in the U.S.
