ATTENTION: STUDENTS
YOUR I-94 CARD:
Filling out the I-94 Form correctly is VERY important. If done incorrectly, you may not be able to obtain a Drivers License or Social Security Card. Not having an I-94 card could also delay employment. Click here to download a sample I-94.


Current Students - Employment

Each semester a workshop is held to provide employment related immigration information to the international students. You can sign up for the workshops by calling 706-425-3154 or by visiting our office.

On-Campus Employment

All F/J students in valid status can work on campus up to 20 hours per week on campus during the school year (while maintaining a full course load and valid visa status) and more than 20 hours during University published breaks.   Read More

Limited off-campus work permission is granted to F/J students who meet the qualifications for CPT or OPT... J-1 students who meet eligibility requirements may apply for Academic Training...   Read More 


Severe Economic Hardship

If an F-1 student has experienced a severe change in their financial support that was not anticipated, they may qualify to apply for SEH.   Read More
