Information for Graduate Students

Each semester, at least one section is designated for graduate students only.

Enrollment is by permission of department only (POD). To receive permission, email the section coordinator at tmcclure@uga.edu. Follow these instructions:

    * In the subject heading of your email, write "UNIV 1120 Graduate Section."
    * In the message area, give your full name and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
    * After you receive a reply, you will have only 24 hours to register for the course through OASIS.

ATTENTION
: The drop/add period for this course for Fall 2009 ends on Thursday, August 20.

The specific curriculum for UNIV 1120 for Graduate Students changes slightly from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the students who enroll each term. (For more information see course topics.) This special section of the course is typically conducted as a workshop, or as a highly-interactive and highly-participatory forum, in order to address the questions of all graduate students in the class. Because the success and benefit of the class depend so much on interaction among all students and the co-instructors, regular attendance is very important.  Because of the workshop nature of this class and the fact that it does not offer graduate degree credit, auditors must officially register for the class.

NOTE: UNIV 1120 does not offer graduate degree credit.
