Vice President for Instruction
Jere Morehead

Jere W. Morehead is Vice President for Instruction. He joined the University of Georgia faculty in legal studies in 1986 and is the Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Terry College of Business.  Professor Morehead also serves as the University's NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative and as Secretary of the Georgia Athletic Association Board of Directors.  He has previously served as Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Associate Provost and Director of the Honors Program, and Acting Executive Director of Legal Affairs.  Prior to joining the UGA faculty, Professor Morehead served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice.

Joe Crim came to UGA in 1978 as a faculty member in the Division of Biological Sciences. He works with first-year residential learning communities and academic service-learning. Before joining the OVPI in 2004, he was Professor and Head of the Department of Cellular Biology, in which he still maintains a research lab.

Ann Crowther has been a member of the UGA community since 1978. She earned her doctorate in public administration (Department of Political Science) and teaches Freshmen Seminars and Introduction to American Government. Prior to joining the OVPI in 1999, she served as associate dean of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences for many years.
