Here is a small sample of the current MPA students at the University of Georgia. The students hail from Georgia, many other regions of the United States, and several other countries around the world. They range widely in terms of age, experience, and particular interests in public policy and public management. Individuals in the Georgia MPA class have experience as Peace Corps, military, and Americorps veterans, as well as in international, federal, state, and local agencies. Quite a number of current MPA students have worked in the nonprofit sector in the U.S. or abroad. They all share keen interest in and motivation toward professional careers in public service.
