Statement of Interest
Whitford concentrates on research and teaching in organizational studies and public policy, with specific interest in organization theory, models of decision making and adaptation, and the political control of the bureaucracy. His interests in public policy include environmental, regulation, and public health policy. He has particularly strong interests in the use of experimental methods for understanding organizational behavior and individual choice.
