    Plants in the Athens Select TM program differ from other programs in the market place by being tested under conditions of high heat and humidity. Plants selected for Athens Select are "heat and humidity tested" for two to three years at the University of Georgia trial gardens.

    The Physical Plant Automotive Center operates a full service shop and a limited motor pool subject to vehicle availability. Station wagons, vans (passenger and cargo), and a cargo truck are provided on a rental basis to University academic departments and activities to be used for academic purposes by the faculty and staff.
