The University of Georgia initiated its degree program in criminal justice studies in 1977. The A.B. in criminal justice offered by the University is an interdisciplinary degree where students draw on the expertise of faculty in Political Science, Sociology, Psychology and other departments in the College of Arts and Sciences.
