A Fraternity of Firsts

The History of Stepping

The NPHC at UGA

The Zeta Nu Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma was founded at the University of Georgia during the summer of 1974. Since its initial inception, the "Zoo Nasty" chapter has continued to make a great impact not only on UGA's campus, but on the Athens-Clarke County community as well. Since 1974, Zeta Nu has seen 42 pledge classes and over 160 members, including NFL Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward. As we continue to grow in membership, we also continue to strive to live our motto "Culture for Service, Service for Humanity."
