Stroke patients respond similarly to after-stroke care, despite age difference
Age has little to do with how patients should be treated after suffering a stroke, according to new research from the University of Georgia. Neale Chumbler, a UGA professor in the College of Public Health, found patients responded equally to care efforts.

GMOA tour to focus on European bronzes
The Georgia Museum of Art’s Tour at Two on May 22 at 2 p.m. is on “Small European Bronzes from the Collection.” Lynn Boland, the Pierre Daura curator of European art, will lead the tour, which will feature bronzes by Rodin, Renoir, Matisse, Moore and Maillol.
Legion Pool to open for summer
Legion Pool will open on May 23 for the summer season. Hours of operation are 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. daily through July 31, and 2-7 p.m. Aug. 1-8. Admission is $3 for students, $4 for faculty and staff, $3 for children ages 3-15 (who must be accompanied by an adult) and $5 for guests and members of Friends of Campus Life. A valid UGACard is required for students, faculty and staff.
GMOA to show ‘The Art of the Steal'
As part of its Art and Intrigue Film Series, the Georgia Museum of Art will show the film "The Art of the Steal" on May 23 at 7 p.m. The 2009 film chronicles the long and dramatic struggle for control of the Barnes Foundation, a private collection of art valued at more than $25 billion.
