Thursday, August 13
8:45-1:00 Mandatory Orientation for new teaching assistants only in the Miller Learning Center, Room 101. Due to the budget cuts in assistantships all students who have been awarded an assistantship should assume that your assignment will be to serve as a teaching assistant.
9:00-12:00 Advising and Registration continued
3:00-4:00 An overview of GRSC 7770 and workshop on POLS 1101 in 302 Baldwin Hall.
This is mandatory for all new teaching assistants. Assignments will be made and forwarded to you prior to orientation, or given to you during orientation.
4:00-5:00 Students assisting as TA's of large sections of POLS 1101 meet with the faculty they have been assigned to. Rooms will be announced.
