Details have been announced for two Society-sponsored meetings to take place in June 2006.

The ISOP meeting will be held in conjunction with the International Workshop on Opportunistic Protists, in Lisbon, Portugal, June 20-24. The meeting website is available on the Society Website. Abstract submission and early registration deadline has been extended to April 15. A program of events, sure to be of interest to a broad range of protistological researchers, has been provided.

The East Coast section will hold its thirteenth meeting at Russell Sage College, Troy, NY, on June 6-8. Registration and abstract submission details are available on the meeting website.
