Protist 2008 post-conference
Protist2008, the joint ISOP/ISEP meeting, was a somewhat damp but resounding success. The meeting featured several excellent symposia, interesting affiliated programs such as the Tree of Life workshop, and a lively Protists in the Arts night, which featured (inter alia) a demonstration of how to manufacture a van Leeuwenhoek microscope, artworks in several media, and the Bacillaria Dance.
